Analytical Methodology

1. Migration Vulnerability Index (MVI)

The MVI is a statistical index used to identify districts experiencing rapid demographic flux.

Calculated by cross-referencing Aggregated Authentication Locality (AAL) logs against permanent address registry data. A district score increases when a statistically significant volume of "Home District" residents consistently authenticate biometric or OTP services in a "Host District" for more than 45 consecutive days.

2. Aging Pressure Indicator (API)

Measures the burden on local infrastructure based on geriatric demographic concentration.

Derived from the ratio of active pension-linked authentications to active labor-participation authentications within a 30-day window. This provides a historical proxy for the dependency ratio, bypassing the latency of decadal census data.

3. Economic Mobility Score (EMS)

Quantifies the upward movement of individuals across service utilization tiers.

The EMS tracks the transition of aggregated cohorts from basic subsidy-based service utilization to premium transactional services (e.g., linked digital payments, insurance enrollment). A higher EMS indicates a district where the population is successfully transitioning out of subsistence reliance.

The net displacement of residents from their registered district to external urban centers, measured through high-frequency service pings in non-native jurisdictions.
Dependency Ratio
The proportion of the population aged 0-14 and 65+ compared to the working-age population (15-64), inferred through age-bracketed aggregation of active IDs.

A metric indicating the regularity of digital interactions at local kiosks, used as a proxy for local economic activity and presence.
Service Utilization Tier
Categorization of users based on the types of government and private services accessed, ranging from Tier 1 (Survival) to Tier 5 (Prosperity).

Data Ethics & Privacy Protocol

The Aadhaar Oracle platform adheres to the principle of Privacy by Design. All calculations are performed on k-anonymized datasets where N > 100. No PII (Personally Identifiable Information) is ever retrieved, stored, or visualized by the analytics engine. Insights are purely socioeconomic and demographic in nature, intended for macroscopic policy planning.
